In keeping up with the changing times Barton County Ambulance District is always striving to keep its employees up to date with the newest information and schooling out there. Recently B.C.A.D. put on a class about Emergency response to Terrorism and also a class about Violence in the schools.

These classes were put on by the Missouri University, Fire and Rescue Training Institute. The classes were very informative. Everyone seemed to come away from the classes with a better understanding about what EMS, Fire, and Police department’s have to do to maintain a safe and workable environment in dealing with any Terrorist Attacks or even Violence in our schools.
